Akon launches new fragrances for Women and Men

Akon wants to launch his new fragrances soon. His signature scents for men and woman are called „Aliaune“and „Konvict“. With his perfume he wants support his Foundation called „Konfidence“in order to improve the quality of life for the people in his hometown Senegal. Everyone who wants to get the chance to meet Akon should visit his site to win an All-Access VIP Pass for two persons to Akon’s exclusive fragrance launch party in Atlanta, GA. Akon named his scents after his name „Aliaune Akon Thiam“and the second album „Konvict“.

Akon does not only want to start a new perfume- he is also making businesses with his newly founded company „Konvict Cosmetics“. It seems to be another start-up of the successful singer and producer. He also owns his own clothes line and of course the label „Konvict Muzik“. I hope that the fragrances will get in stores soon so I can test it out.

A collection of pictures with Akon, Beyonce and Jay-Z. A longer time ago Akon said that he flirted with Beyonce. Akon and Beyonce, is it possible? Beyonce is currently in a relationship with singer and producer Jay-Z. Akon says: "Oh, man! Alicia Keys, Beyonce – I'm pretty lucky in that respect, but I guess it comes with the circles you find yourself in when you get success."

Should Jay-Z be jealous? No, of course not, Akon claims he has three wives and their closer contact was so long ago. Also Jay-Z has to do do much business like Akon, he's got much success the last time with his new album.

Akon put the Sexy Bitch to the test on Hitlab

Trouble and Fight at Akon concert in Melbourne

On October 26 at a concert in Melbourne from Akon there was big trouble and a gang fight. Akon halted the music at his show and jumped into the audience trying to stop the brawl. 18 people needed medical attention because of the fight between rival gangs.

In the video you can see Akon speaking to the croud. He wanted to calm them down and remember the that he worked hard to bring his show to Australia.

Some people reported that some persons were being smashed over the head with glass bottles.

A group of up to 50 people rushed the entrance at about 9pm in a bid to gain entry to the concert. Akon risked his own safety as he jumped in the crowd. The promoter of Akon, Dwayne Cross said: “One of the things people should take note of is an artist didn’t have too much concern for his own safety to go down and try and make things better.”

Ambulance Victoria spokesman Paul Bentley said: “They were all men aged between 22 and 54. They were all suffering cuts and bruising, some of them had to be given some pain relief. They were all taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.” One man has been arrested in connection with the violence, it was reported.

Akon is going to play tonight in Sydney.

Jay-Z lost up to 55% of his income this year. Diddy as well. And of course 50Cent, he almost lost a big amount. This shows that the worldwide downturn don't stops in front of a superstar. For example: Jay-Z earned over $80 million last year, this year he "only" gets $35 million.

But: One of the winners is Akon. He said: "The timing of Jay's deal couldn't have been more perfect," fourth on this year's list Akon told. "Those numbers aren't going to be flying around anymore."

He's referring to the deals of 50Cent and Jay-Z. The last year 50Cent sold his stake in VitaminWater to Coca-Cola; Jay-Z made a deal with the concert promoter "Live Nation".

Lady Gaga and her succes- What Akon says about it

Everyone knows Lady Gaga, the newcomer this year. She made a deal with Akon's label "Kon Live Distribution" after she was dropped from Def Jam Records. Her album "The Fame" topped the Billboard Top Electronic chart in the USA and it has gone to number one in four countries.

"Just Dance" and "Poker Face" have become great popular hits so that she was nominated for best Dance Recording.

Gaga is a rare find, that's what Akon thinks about her talent.

"She's definitely paid her dues. She's been through all kinds of strings and ropes. She's jumped through all kinds of hoops. It was just a matter of time for her. You can't stop true talent. And you can't stop the truth. If that's what it is, that's what it is. At the end of the day, she's one of those rare finds. A diamond in the rough that you just have to polish out and let shine, and that's exactly what she's doing.",
